RADICAL DIGITAL

The radical strategy for digital transformation must not lack a cultural, technical and procedural reorientation. Change affects many, if not all, of the company's employees, organizations and committees and takes time. Many habits have to be changed and this requires a lot of positive pressure. I can help you through!

Boldness Digital Strategy:

Digitizing a company means simplifying and optimizing existing work processes through digital solutions and thus making work more efficient (this does not mean simply digitizing the process, but completely rethinking it!).  This starts with digital bookkeeping and goes up to all control systems in production, which check for wear parts, gaps etc. in the material stock and other problems and if necessary solve them by automated processes.  On the other hand, the digitalization of companies means supplementing or even replacing existing business models with new digital elements and keeping and expanding the organization fast, agile and innovative.

Overall, the goal is to increase sales or reduce costs and thus increase profits. In addition, companies improve their performance and remain more competitive with other providers. Those who refuse to digitize have to accept that competitors are pushing them out of the market with better digital solutions. In smaller companies, it is above all time-consuming and personnel-intensive processes that can be better managed with digital helpers.

10 PREREQUISITES FOR GLOBAL SUCCESS IN EXPONENTIAL COMMERCE:
  • Cloud Infrastructure and modern modular Platform-architecture for holistic digital commerce
  • Accurate Data Model environment and Single Source of Truth composition
  • Continuous digital customer-centric Workflows through all layers of systems
  • Generally transformation to a punchy GDCC** setup on a global scale
  • Radical Digital Strategy*** and New Business Innovation via DCoE****
  • Explicit and overarching global Business Strategy
  • Fast forward Logistic Processes and Fulfillment Infrastructure purposefully in each market
  • Ingenious and precise GTM model worldwide customized
  • Speed-up Change on all layers ruthlessly
  • Put company goals above departmental goals mercilessly

According to IDC, companies have to push ahead with the comprehensive visualization of servers, networks and storage on the one hand, and the use of software defined infrastructure, containers, convergent and hyper-convergent solutions and composite IT on the other. These are a lot of tasks that are included in the specifications for, but i can´t say it better!

Top 3 Tasks and their subgoals (POT):

Process Optimization

1. Holistic process optimization:
It is of elementary importance not only to analyze selected process flows in the company but also to consider all internal processes. Different processes (within a department, but also across departments) are always interdependent and this is the only way smart digitization can work.

2. digitization and workflows:
Careful consideration must be given to which optimization tips can be implemented through digitization and which business processes can be supported by IT as easily and cost-effectively as possible. For this reason, concrete workflows are first analysed and a sense of progress is felt. Creativity and unconventional thinking are the fastest and most sustainable means of implementing IT-supported workflows (e.g. replacing "paper processes").

3. Performance Management and KPIs:
Each company and each division uses different KPIs to measure performance. The purpose of KPIs is to monitor and evaluate business processes and individual projects or departments. Depending on the perspective, such as internal accounting, customers or management, different KPI sizes are used. Which KPIs are the right ones always depends on which activities are to be checked. However, it makes no sense to look stubbornly at each area for itself, but always to set KPI´s in relation to the company and customer goals.

Orga Development

1. Agile principles from development to management:
Adjustment to changing market conditions, customer needs, regulations and competitive offers requires speed in action. Actionism does not help here, but leads even further into ruin. Agile principles must be established in order to take changes into account and to achieve flexible goals.

2. Positive error culture:
Allowing mistakes to be made in order to learn from them enables a culture of curiosity and ensures the spirit of innovation that is needed in digitisation. The digital transformation requires the solution of highly complex problems at many levels. This requires the involvement of many experts and their collaboration must be efficient and effective.

3. Co-Opetion - My friend, sometimes enemy:
This is how the term co-Opetion can be summed up. Partnerships with competitors are becoming increasingly necessary. Networks are also becoming established here. In certain areas you work together, in others you continue to compete. The division of labour between one's own and the partner companies is therefore an important component of cultural change.

Technical Transformation

1. Software Defined Infrastructure:
The basis for flexibility. The complete virtualization of a data center allows flexible configuration of computing, network and storage resources per application over standard hardware. An application-related infrastructure automatically handles application requirements, security aspects and disaster preparedness features. App store-like management dashboards can be used to deploy and monitor a software-defined infrastructure. In an SDI, workloads can be moved to private or public clouds to maintain data integrity while increasing speed, efficiency and reducing costs.

2. Multi-Cloud:
To the Next-Gen-Datacenter. The Multi Cloud enables the parallel use of cloud services and platforms from several providers. From the user's perspective, it behaves like a single large cloud. Multiple cloud models such as the private or public cloud can be integrated in the multi cloud. The multi cloud can be seen as an evolutionary stage of cloud computing and represents a kind of extension of the hybrid cloud model.

3. The future - Composable infrastructures:
In a Composable Infrastructure, computing, storage and network resources are abstracted from their physical locations and can be managed via a web-based interface. With a Composable Infrastructure, data center resources are available as well as cloud services, making it the foundation for private and hybrid cloud solutions.

Boldness Digital Strategy Partner Network:

Together for success:
You don't have to do everything yourself or spend a lot of money. Today, technology is available everywhere and for all needs. So is the knowledge and the ability to implement it. Therefore it is easy to access them in a strong and open network and to be better than the competition.
Anyone who waits for digital change to finally come to a standstill will wait in vain. Because digital change means constant change. Bad news? On the contrary. A look at the opportunities and possibilities that present themselves. But what opportunities and possibilities arise especially for your company? And how can you use them? Let us find answers to these questions together also to achive the "CIO Goals":

Performance and availability are the number one goals (60 %), compliance and security rank second (53 %). Other goals include enabling innovation (51 %) and reducing costs (50 %). Next is the challenge to maintain control over one's own systems (47 %) and achieve greater agility (46 %).*
